Teague — engineer report against the PA scope
Teague — Hail, commercial roof · RM-2026-04188Thorough
Put the Cordray engineer report against the public adjuster's scope on the Teague hail claim. Where do they actually disagree?
They agree on more than the $412,000 spread suggests. The whole dispute is the north and east slopes.
- Both agree the south and west slopes show functional hail damage and need replacement. That's roughly $186,000 of scope neither side contests.
- They split on the north and east slopes. Cordray finds mechanical damage consistent with foot traffic and prior repair, not hail. The PA scopes both for full replacement at $284,000.
- The matching argument is separate. Even on Cordray's findings, the PA argues the remaining slopes can't be matched, which is a policy-language question, not an engineering one, and the CP 00 10 form is silent on matching.
The path here is a joint re-inspection of the two disputed slopes with both experts on the roof. That is cheaper than appraisal and the disagreement is narrow enough to be worth trying. Comparison table attached, keyed to slope and photo number.
